Summary:

The Quality Inspector performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.  Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.  Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Supports Isometrics continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test or measure materials or products being produced.
  • Read Mechanical drawings and product specifications.
  • Monitor production products and processes to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Recommend adjustments or improvements to the assembly or production process.
  • Communicate with process technicians and/or production supervisors promptly upon non-conforming or marginal quality inspections.
  • Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, vision systems, or other measurement equipment.
  • Communicate through daily quality pass down.
  • Record and/or report inspection and test data.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and preferably two years of quality experience.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within quality inspection.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

The Operations Manager is responsible for meeting acknowledged customer molding and assembly delivery dates, supporting customer requests, and solving manufacturing issues.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Purchasing, Scheduling/Planning, Secondary Operations, Molding, Assembly, Material Handling, and Shipping and Receiving Teams
  • Develop and mentor assigned team to attain optimal performance of the individual and the company
  • Develop and maintain capacity plan based on forecasts to ensure resources are available to meet demand
  • Establish and monitor KPI’s for operations and ensure alignment to goals of organization
  • Oversee operational efficiency monitoring, benchmarking, and improvement
  • Create and present department budgets to executive management for approval
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to established budgets
  • Work with cross-functional management team to determine building, infrastructure, equipment, and human resource requirements to achieve customer needs
  • Support all other departments including Sales, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and HR as required.
  • Collaborate with management team on annual and long-term strategic planning
  • Actively participate in continual improvement, corrective action, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure work is performed to engineered specifications and that environment is clean and well organized
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts throughout assigned teams and improve performance
  • Ensure clean-room policies are strictly adhered to at all times

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or management
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in or servicing the medical device or drug delivery industries preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial and leadership role in a production environment
  • Minimum of 5 years experience injection molding experience preferred

Summary:

The Senior Human Resource Generalist is responsible for assisting with the facilitation of human resource programs as assigned. Ensures Federal and State compliance and maintains highest level of confidentiality in all interactions and processes including Lifecycle Recruitment, Onboarding, Affirmative Action, EEO-1 reporting, Benefits Administration and Reconciliation, Leaves of Absence, OSHA, Work Comp reporting, Records Management, and Compliance. Responsible for supporting Isometric ISO13485 continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains employee records and personnel files ensuring compliance with Federal and State Regulations
  • Ensures the highest level of confidentiality in all communications, documentation and recording systems.
  • Work collaboratively with department managers to complete Personnel Requisitions and develop Job Descriptions for new or replacement positions.
  • Conducts job evaluation, market analysis, and salary benchmarking using SHRM surveys.
  • Develop relationships with career placement services, and advertisement agencies. Write advertisements, source, and recruit qualified applicants for open positions.
  • Attend college career fairs and recruitment events to source qualified talent.
  • Drive key talent process with managers to prescreen and interview applicants per Title VII ADA and Department of Labor standards.
  • Conducts background screening, verifies validity of application information, and obtains references of finalist applicants.
  • Assists HR Manager with Affirmative Action, EEO-1, and Vets reporting annually.
  • Onboard new employees ensuring introduction to Isometric is a quality experience that welcomes and identifies new employee as an integral part of the organization and provides readiness for short and long-term success.
  • Collect new hire paperwork and create individual employee and benefit files per Federal, State and Department of Labor for storage in Human Resource.
  • Present benefit options and enrollment procedures to new employees.
  • Develop orientation packets ensuring adequate supply in stock for new employees.
  • Conduct exit interviews for terminating employees and explain benefit termination.
  • Assist with Benefits Open Enrollment and ensuring completion of employee elections.
  • Reconcile bi-weekly benefit premiums to payroll journal and monthly benefit premiums from insurance carriers.
  • Complete OSHA First Report of Injury Tracking and OSHA 300 logs. Work with department managers to investigate injuries and communicate with Safety Specialist.
  • Complete Work Comp Reporting and work with department manager to ensure Return to Work Authorizations are received and employee limitations identified before return.
  • Assist HR Manager with FMLA and Leaves of Absence Claims Processing and Tracking.
  • Lead employee engagement activities.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resource Development/Management
  • Minimum of 7 years demonstrated exp in Human Resource Generalist role
  • Minimum of 7 years exp. of Benefits Administration, OSHA, Work Comp, Leaves of Absence, COBRA, FMLA Tracking and Compliance
  • Minimum 3 years exp with Lifecycle recruitment and collaborating with department managers to source, recruit and negotiate compensation with qualified candidates
  • Knowledge of Title VII, and Federal/State regulations pertaining to Employment Law
  • Membership in Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
  • High level integrity, ethics and confidentiality that aligns with Isometric Core Values

  • Minimum (5) years of automation mechanical design and build experience
  • Minimum (5) years of automation control system design and build experience
  • Automation programming experience highly preferred including HMI, PLC, vision systems, robots
  • Medical device industry experience ISO13485 highly preferred
  • Injection molding industry experience highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD software

Summary:

The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity and functionality of tight tolerance micro plastic injection molds.

Qualifications:

  • Analyze injection mold CAD models and drawings to plan optimal maintenance approach.
  • Perform mold maintenance on molds to ensure proper function.
  • Troubleshoot mold related problems as they occur and perform repairs to ensure molds are in optimal operating condition.
  • Perform mold modifications as directed.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on mold operation and molding conditions base on observations.
  • Maintain mold documentation and follow mold cleaning guidelines.
  • Comply with company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Proficiency using CAD software for reviewing mold data and records.
  • Ability to operate manual grinding equipment and manual mills.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate/Technical degree in machine tooling or similar desired.
  • Mold maintenance and cleaning proficiency, required.
  • CAD Software proficiency to review molds, desired.

Summary:

The Mold Designer is responsible for developing 3D solid model tooling designs in a manner that maintains the project schedule and quality and produces engineering molds that are designed for ease of manufacturing.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D solid model tooling designs using Pro Engineer in a manner that maintains the project schedule with no sacrifice to quality of the end product.
  • Design molds, fixtures, and tooling that meets or exceeds customer’s specifications.
  • Engineer molds that are designed for ease of manufacturing.
  • Provide engineering support to manufacturing when required.
  • Provide component details when required or requested by manufacturing.
  • Ensure proper level of confidentiality when dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Adhere to procedures and guidelines as specified in Quality Management System.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Technical associate degree and 5-10 years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience designing technical molds for the thermoplastics industry.
  • Expert user of solids modeling software, preferably Pro Engineer.
  • Intimate knowledge of best-in-class mold design practices and available technologies.
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerancing practices.
  • Analytical problem solving ability, process oriented.
  • Excellent math skills including a working knowledge of trigonometry which includes roll dimensions and compound angles.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly scheduling of all production and development presses, secondary operations and required maintenance in a fast paced, continuously improving, manufacturing environment. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Use of the ERP system to schedule production and development jobs
  • Use of the ERP system to schedule preventative maintenance of tooling and equipment
  • Plan, schedule and monitor the flow of production and development jobs through the production process to achieve on-time delivery
  • Review production specifications and identify and report any personnel, machine and material capacity restraints
  • Review and evaluate production progress, work in process, raw materials and finished good materials
  • Revise production and development schedules when required
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to identify schedule and delivery needs
  • Provide input and solutions to scheduling issues within the ERP system
  • Ensures thoroughness, accuracy and great attention to detail with entering information in the ERP system
  • Model Isometric core competencies and support Isometric ISO13485 continuous improvement efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years production scheduling or planning experience with a minimum of 1 year of Epicor scheduling experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with Epicor required
  • Knowledge of ISO13485 requirements preferred
  • Intermediate level computer skills in the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Basic reading, writing, math skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills

Responsible for the final precision grinding and assembly of Isometric’s micron precision molds and fixtures.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Machine tooling or similar discipline OR at least five (5) years experience in high precision mold building, advanced grinding skills required to consistently grind to one tenth accuracy, In-depth problem solving capabilities with very high-level attention to detail required.
